Limoncello Gin and Tonic Cocktail
My Limoncello Gin and Tonic Cocktail has over the last couple of years become a regular at my own cocktail bar.
There’s no expensive equipment required, only a steady hand! I implore you to try this out before you serve it to guests – it’s only right that you have high quality control standards.
Ingredients for 1 serving
50 ml | Limoncello (lemon liqueur) |
25 ml | Gin |
75 ml | Tonic Water |
75 ml | San Pellegrino Limonata |
Or | |
75 ml | Cloudy Lemonade |
50g | Lemon (rind only for decoration) |
Ice |
Equipment
Gin Glass
Method
- Add the ice to your gin glass and add the Limoncello, gin, tonic water and lemonade.
- Stir.
- Add a sliver of lemon rind to garnish.
Notes
- I use a London Dry Gin. Using a gin that has other flavourings other than traditional botanicals will change the flavour of the final drink.
- If you like to use a quality tonic such as Fever-Tree, then consider using their pairing tool [1] to pick the tonic to compliment the gin you plan to use. I’ve included a link below.
